FUN FACT: Eastern Market’s Amore da Roma, originally Roma Cafe, is believed to be Detroit’s oldest restaurant.

Hey, it’s JB!

If you’ve ever wanted to check out some of Detroit’s many farms and gardens, this Saturday is your chance!

The 27th annual Detroit Farms and Gardens tour hosted by Keep Growing Detroit will kick off at 1 p.m. Saturday with several tour options whether you want to bike or drive. (The walking option is sold out.) Each route takes you to three unique Detroit farms and they all finish at Keep Growing Detroit’s farm in Eastern Market where there will be food made by Detroit chefs using local produce, and a live DJ.

(I’ll be there giving out popsicles made with local ingredients!)

Learn more about the tours and register here. Tickets are $25.
