BridgeDetroit is a local nonprofit newsroom with a mission of serving Detroit residents with the information they need to be better engaged in civic life. We do this through deeply reported, accessible journalism rooted in the concerns of Detroiters and through community engagement efforts that create a feedback loop with residents, helping them better understand the forces shaping their city.  We are a publication of the Center for Michigan, a nonprofit committed to making Michigan better through high-quality, nonpartisan journalism & engagement.
