Hey, it’s JB!

Happy 313 Day.

For Detroit’s holiday I have a profile on one of the city’s most influential Instagram users, who happens to be all about food.

Carlos Parisi, an entrepreneur, event planner, collaborator, writer and soon-to-be actor ranked top on a list of Detroit Instagram users, based on the percentage of Detroit-based followers.

I interviewed Parisi about his start in the food industry, from making pizza at Little Caesars to owner of Aunt Nee’s and vendor at Eastern Market for the last 16 years. We also talked about his more recent projects, like a sandwich festival and a comedy TV show about sandwiches piloting this summer.

He shared his favorite Detroit food and where to get it, why he does what he does, and more. Check it out.

Dig In,
JB
