In this special episode on education, a group of students from Detroit high schools participate in a roundtable with Detroit PBS Vice President of Education Dr. Omar Hakim at The Skillman Foundation offices.
The teens tackle a variety of topics including the use of AI in classrooms, how schools can support students’ mental wellness, current learning methods, and how they would redesign the high school experience for the future.
The conversation is part of the station’s ongoing coverage on stories from Detroit’s education frontlines.
