Jasmine Snow
Jasmine C. Snow covers Detroit City Council and produces the Detroit City Notebook for BridgeDetroit. She was previously a lead research assistant with the LIFT Project, a research organization working to improve community and local media relationships across the Midwest via trusted messengers, and in 2026 was selected as an inaugural Community Reporting Fellow by the Institute for Journalism and Natural Resources.
Jasmine holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and American studies from the University of Minnesota and a master's degree in journalism from Michigan State University. Her reporting has appeared in the Minnesota Star Tribune, APM Reports, the Minnesota Spokesman- Recorder and the Minnesota Daily, among others.
