We checked in with our local students who are part of the PBS NewsHour Student Reporting Labs and asked what they find most worrying about going back to school in-person, how their environment has changed, and what they wish adults knew about going to school nowadays.
One Detroit contributor and Detroit News Editorial Page Editor, Nolan Finley, spoke with Steve Tobocman of Global Detroit, an organization that focuses on immigrant inclusive strategies.

- Detroit’s Boxing Legacy
Detroit has produced numerous boxing champions like Joe Louis and Tommy “The Hitman” Hearns and is the home of The Kronk Gym and the Golden Gloves Tournament. The city has been a training ground for some of the best amateur and professional boxers around. Marcus Green from American Black Journal gives us a look at the city’s celebrated boxing scene.
