Hey, it’s JB!

Last week I introduced the All Food Detroit calendar, a free list of any local food event in the city you could imagine, from hot sauce and wine tastings to cooking classes to food pop-ups, farmers markets and more!

Bekah Galang started the calendar 11 years ago to “help build a secure, sustainable, and vibrant food system for all Detroiters.”

It’s the most comprehensive calendar I’ve seen of food happenings in Detroit both in quantity and quality, with links, addresses and everything you need to know to support local food events. There is also an Instagram page. Between now and next Thursday there are more than 50 local food events!

Last week I asked whether you preferred the old list format or Galang’s calendar link. I received one “yay” and one “nay.”

Reach out, I need more input!

Which do you find more useful – the old list of solely food pop-ups, or linking to the calendar that includes a variety of food events?

Dig In,
JB
