Detroit techno pioneer Carl Craig is celebrating Black History Month with his “All Black Vinyl” series on Instagram, where he showcases Black artists from his extensive record collection every Wednesday throughout February. The series, now in its fifth year, highlights the rich legacy of Black musicians who have shaped genres, broken barriers and influenced music history.

With the series, Craig not only celebrates the artistry of past and present Black musicians, but he also reflects on how his own career has been shaped by their influence. By sharing these vinyl selections, Craig invites his followers to learn about the impact of Black music and its impact on American history.
