MAP Fest convened Saturday for its second year in Highland Park’s Avalon Village, welcoming all ages and backgrounds to build community through music, art, poetry, fashion and food.

The lineup featured dozens of performers, artists and more. The event was born from a desire to “galvanize local artists” who “exemplify dedication in promoting unity, art and mapping out innovative pathways for entertainment in Detroit,” according to organizers.
